6. Read findings and make review decisions
Start with the highest relevant severity and read the inspector's explanation, evidence, affected context and available action. Severity describes urgency; the rule's indicator colour identifies its category. Do not interpret colour alone as severity.
Filter Show by area or module and Review by open/all/reviewed/addressed/dismissed. Open findings include unreviewed items and reviewed items deliberately kept open. Related evidence and possible root causes are review aids, not proven diagnoses.
| Decision | Effect |
|---|---|
| Dismiss this occurrence | Hides that occurrence from the open queue without editing text. |
| Reviewed — keep open | Records a conscious decision while retaining open work. |
| Mark as addressed | Records a local review status; it does not prove a correction. |
| Exclude category in this document | Applies a document-local category exception if the active team policy permits it. |
The last three controls can require Professional details. Team standards can restrict exceptions. A lower visible count after dismissing or filtering is not evidence that the document improved. After a real edit, run a fresh inspection and compare the scope and enabled modules.
