7. Verify and finish
After an edit, run Update inspection and confirm scope/settings again. Check the original finding and nearby composition. Finish any live preview, clear owned marks, inspect table/footnote coverage warnings, run InDesign Preflight and human review, and save the intended final version.
For support, open Logs, run Run self-check if needed, and copy the privacy-safe diagnostic JSON report. Include build, InDesign/OS version, scope and reproduction steps; mask license keys. The full User Manual explains Publication, profiles, locale rules, license activation and troubleshooting.
The full manual also provides task-level references for Style/Override Map, colour transfer, protected profiles, detector thresholds, queued proposals and publication integrity. Preview in layout can be a live terminal-frame expansion for eligible overset; Review details can be panel-only. Read the strategy before Apply. Publication exports retain document names, unlike the minimized single-document diagnostic report.
For guided practice, use the disposable-document exercises. For plain-language definitions, open the working glossary.
