Repeated tabs
Plugin rule colour. Read the rule name as well as the dot.
Avellio notices: Repeated tab characters appear in the inspected text.
Example to inspect: Name⇥⇥Value
Possible editorial outcome: A deliberate tab stop or table structure, where appropriate
Why review it: Repeated tabs can be fragile substitutes for an explicit alignment system.
When to keep or investigate: Imported structured text and deliberate tabular conventions can legitimately contain repeated tabs.
Your next step: Inspect tab stops and content structure. Change the alignment method deliberately rather than deleting all tab characters.
Verify: inspect the edited text again with the intended scope and policy. Check meaning and nearby composition; a review status alone does not prove a correction.
In the plugin — Review in context: Review tab stops or table structure instead of repeated tabs. This recommendation does not edit text; verify context, make a deliberate change in InDesign if appropriate, then inspect again.
