Why review it: A range, a hyphenated word and a minus sign express different relationships.

When to keep or investigate: Identifiers, telephone numbers, negative values, paths and code must retain their meaning.

Your next step: Identify the relationship first, then choose the appropriate mark. Do not apply a global hyphen replacement.

Verify: inspect the edited text again with the intended scope and policy. Check meaning and nearby composition; a review status alone does not prove a correction.
