Repeated spaces
Plugin rule colour. Read the rule name as well as the dot.
Avellio notices: Two or more ordinary spaces interrupt normal word spacing.
Example to inspect: Annual··report
Possible editorial outcome: Annual·report
Why review it: Repeated spaces can create visible holes in justified text.
When to keep or investigate: Retain intentional spacing in code, plain-text alignment or a deliberately structured example.
Your next step: Review the exact occurrence. If unintended, reduce the ordinary-space run in InDesign and inspect the paragraph again.
Verify: inspect the edited text again with the intended scope and policy. Check meaning and nearby composition; a review status alone does not prove a correction.
In the plugin — Suggested replacement: Use one space between words; confirm that the extra spacing is not intentional. Only a run of two or more ordinary spaces qualifies. Tabs and nonbreaking spaces are not normalized by this recommendation. Teaching example: Found ␠␠ → Suggested ␠. This recommendation does not edit text; verify context, make a deliberate change in InDesign if appropriate, then inspect again.
