One-letter word break
Plugin rule colour. Read the rule name as well as the dot.
Avellio notices: A supported short-word break conflicts with the configured language or house-style rule.
Example to inspect: A configured short word at a line end
Possible editorial outcome: The word stays with its following text where required
Why review it: Very short isolated words can produce awkward reading or violate the chosen convention.
When to keep or investigate: The enabled word list and supported locale matter. This is not a universal ban on short words at line ends.
Your next step: Check the word, language policy and actual layout; retain or change the connection deliberately. This rule shares its colour with Czech one-letter breaks.
Verify: inspect the edited text again with the intended scope and policy. Check meaning and nearby composition; a review status alone does not prove a correction.
In the plugin — Review in context: Keep the short word with the following word using No Break or a nonbreaking space. This recommendation does not edit text; verify context, make a deliberate change in InDesign if appropriate, then inspect again.
