Space before punctuation
Plugin rule colour. Read the rule name as well as the dot.
Avellio notices: Whitespace precedes punctuation in a context where the resolved convention may reject it.
Example to inspect: Ready·, now
Possible editorial outcome: Ready, now
Why review it: An extra space can interrupt punctuation attachment and reading rhythm.
When to keep or investigate: French punctuation and other locale-specific spacing cannot be judged by a universal remove-space rule.
Your next step: Check the punctuation character and language. Correct only a confirmed occurrence, then inspect its surrounding text.
Verify: inspect the edited text again with the intended scope and policy. Check meaning and nearby composition; a review status alone does not prove a correction.
In the plugin — Review in context: Review spacing before this punctuation using the text language conventions. This recommendation does not edit text; verify context, make a deliberate change in InDesign if appropriate, then inspect again.
