Number–unit spacing

Plugin rule colour. Read the rule name as well as the dot.

Avellio notices: A supported number-and-unit pattern has spacing that needs contextual review.

Example to inspect: 25·kg

Possible editorial outcome: 25 kg · an unbreakable pair where appropriate

Why review it: An ordinary space can allow the number and its unit to split across lines.

When to keep or investigate: The required space type depends on language and house style. Mathematical notation and identifiers require separate judgement.

Your next step: Confirm the unit and intended convention. If needed, insert the appropriate nonbreaking space and verify line composition.

Verify: inspect the edited text again with the intended scope and policy. Check meaning and nearby composition; a review status alone does not prove a correction.

In the plugin — Review in context: Keep the number and unit together using No Break or an appropriate nonbreaking space. This recommendation does not edit text; verify context, make a deliberate change in InDesign if appropriate, then inspect again.
