Spanish and Latin American choices
Use supported regional context for inverted punctuation, numeric presentation and currency.
Decide what the text is meant to follow
- Where does the complete question or exclamation actually start?
- Does a currency symbol identify its country unambiguously?
- Is a quoted regional convention intentionally different?
Interpret the example in context
A question can need an opening ¿, but a detected fragment alone does not establish the true sentence boundary.
The model has separate Spain, Latin American and named regional choices. The broad Latin American choice remains flexible in places where a single national convention would be misleading. Preserve amounts and source meanings; review complete sentences before adding paired marks.
Inspect the current plugin model
These fields describe the built-in plugin defaults. Read Language & rules for the policy actually used in your inspection; a custom team profile can differ. The defaults are not a universal style guide and do not promise equal rule coverage. Expand a specific locale to compare its expectations.

Use the language evidence deliberately
- Check paragraph-language attributes, intended publication convention and actual active policy.
- Inspect representative text and read the resolved language and coverage in the panel.
- Review complete quotations, numeric source values and relevant line boundaries before any edit.
- Apply intended policy changes and inspect again. Retain intentional source differences and obtain competent language review where needed.
