Multilingual Switzerland
Use the mixed Swiss option deliberately and inspect language-specific text rather than assuming a regional label resolves every paragraph.
Decide what the text is meant to follow
- Would accurate paragraph languages provide clearer evidence than one mixed policy?
- Are the amount and grouping consistent with the intended source?
- Is a local quote form an intentional language choice?
Interpret the example in context
Two Swiss language sections can legitimately use distinct wording and quotation conventions.
The mixed Swiss model supports a defined set of quote forms and Swiss-oriented numeric/currency context. It is not a language detector or translator. Use paragraph evidence and a competent editorial review when one broad policy does not describe the text adequately.
Inspect the current plugin model
These fields describe the built-in plugin defaults. Read Language & rules for the policy actually used in your inspection; a custom team profile can differ. The defaults are not a universal style guide and do not promise equal rule coverage. Expand a specific locale to compare its expectations.

Use the language evidence deliberately
- Check paragraph-language attributes, intended publication convention and actual active policy.
- Inspect representative text and read the resolved language and coverage in the panel.
- Review complete quotations, numeric source values and relevant line boundaries before any edit.
- Apply intended policy changes and inspect again. Retain intentional source differences and obtain competent language review where needed.
