Punctuation and dash details follow the publication’s regional style.

Non-breaking spaces

Protect semantic number–unit and currency pairs.

Dates

Day–month–year is expected.

Numbers

Dot grouping and decimal comma are the profile model.

Currency

PT uses suffix € or EUR; BR expects prefix R$ or BRL and can flag suffix R$.

Units

Recognized units use protected spacing, with contextual exceptions.

Regional variants

PT and BR must not be treated as interchangeable locales.
